PUBLIC NOTICE - Home-based business application

Public Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act 2007, that the Rural Municipality of Vanscoy No. 345 intends to review an application for a discretionary use - home-based business application as hereinafter provided.

INTENT

The proposed Discretionary Use Application Permit No. 01-2026 for a home-based business on the land described below.

AFFECTED LAND

The affected land is Parcel E-Plan 85S10089, SE-26-36-08-W3

PURPOSE

The proposed use is for the operation of a home-based farm-gate produce such as vegetables and herbs that are grown on site. Products will be available for pick-up only through a pre-arranged appointment.

REASON

To accommodate the applicant’s proposed home-based business.

INSPECTION

Any interested person may inspect the proposed application at the Municipal Office, located at 300 Main Street, Vanscoy, SK, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. excluding holidays. PUBLIC HEARING

Council will hold a public hearing on March 19, 2026 at 9:45 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw.  Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the Municipal Office before March 18, 2026.
