Important Note: 

1. We cannot accept credit card payment at the office or over the phone.

2. When using Credit Card & Online Banking payment options, it may take 3-5 business days for payment to be processed.  If the payment is not received in our office prior to the due date because of this reason, we will not waive any penalties that have been applied, nor honor any discounts that were missed.

3. When sending cheques through the mail: The cheque will be processed on the day we receive it in the office. Not the day it was put in the mail. If there is delays in the mail we will not waive any penalties that have been applied, nor honor any discounts that were missed.​

Payment Methods 

 

Credit Card:

  • Credit card payments can be made on our website only through a third-party service provider called OptionPay. This service uses a tiered fee schedule, and the fees are collected on behalf of OptionPay. The fee will be calculated automatically and applied to your payment total.

Email Transfer:

  • Payments can be made via E-Transfer by emailing payments@rmvanscoy.ca.

  • The customer number (found on the top right corner of your tax notice beside your name in brackets) must be included in the memo section of the E-Transfer

  • Or your name and reason for payment must be included in the memo section of the E-Transfer. 

Online Banking:

  • Payments can be made through online banking with most financial institutions, except TD Canada Trust. The customer number (found on the top right corner of your tax notice beside your name in brackets) must be used when setting up the online account, with additional zeros added if necessary. 

  • Search: Vanscoy RM 345 Taxes (not all banks use the same wording)

Mail:

  • Payments can be sent via cheque to the designated mailing address. It's important to ensure that the cheques are received in our office before the last business day of the month to avoid processing delays.

In-Person:

  • Cash or cheque at the municipal office during regular business hours. After-hours payments can be made through a drop box by the front door.
