PUBLIC NOTICE - REZONING APPLICATIONS

Public Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 207 of The Planning and Development Act 2007, that the Rural Municipality of Vanscoy No. 345 intends to pass a bylaw to amend the Zoning Bylaw No. 3/18 as hereinafter provided.

BYLAW NO. 01-2026

INTENT

The proposed Bylaw No. 01-2026 will rezone the land described below from A – Agricultural District to AR – Agricultural Industrial District (AR).


AFFECTED LAND

The affected land is SW 35-36-07-W3.


REASON

To accommodate the applicant’s proposed subdivision and residential use.

BYLAW NO. 05-2026

INTENT

The proposed Bylaw No. 05-2026 will rezone the land described below from A – Agricultural District to AR – Agricultural Industrial District (AR).


AFFECTED LAND

The affected land is LSD 14, NW 30-36-08-W3.


REASON

To accommodate the applicant’s proposed subdivision and residential use.

BYLAW NO. 06-2026

INTENT

The proposed Bylaw No. 06-2026 will rezone the land described below from A – Agricultural District to AR – Agricultural Industrial District (AR).


AFFECTED LAND

The affected land is Parcel A, NW 16-34-07-W3.


REASON

To accommodate the applicant’s proposed subdivision and residential use.


COMMENTS AND SUBMISSIONS

Council will consider all written and verbal comments received at the Municipal Office before April 10, 2026.


BYLAW INSPECTION

Any interested person may inspect the Bylaw at the Municipal Office, located at 300 Main Street, Vanscoy, SK, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. excluding holidays. Copies are available through the Office Clerk.


PUBLIC HEARING

Council will hold a public hearing on April 16, 2026 at 9:45 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw.
